IRIAM prohibits using illustrations that include swimsuits in streams, icons, headers, and other similar areas.
The following examples all count as swimsuits. Even if something is not included in the list, content that is determined to be including a swimsuit will be subject to the same regulation.
Examples of Designs That Are Considered a Swimsuit:
- Clothing that is generally sold as a swimsuit
- Bikinis
- One-piece swimsuits
- Wetsuits
- Swimming caps, goggles, and similar items
- Clothing that looks as if there is a swimsuit underneath
- Transparent clothes where a swimsuit is visible underneath
- Designs where part of the swimsuit is visible through or under the clothes
- Hoodies worn over a swimsuit-like outfit
Q&A:
Q: Why doesn't IRIAM allow characters in swimsuits even though other game apps have them?
A: Unlike game characters, IRIAM's specialty lies in each user being able to characterize themselves, embodying how they wish to be represented through their personality and voice. For that reason, there are stricter regulations than there are for games on the app store.
With this in mind, and careful deliberation on IRIAM's freedom of expression, the result currently stands that swimsuits are prohibited across the board.
