Your Community Rank can change in three ways: rank up, rank down, or rank keep (your rank stays the same). Each happens at a different time.
<Rank Up>
Whenever a Daily Rank Score is finalized—no matter where you are within the tally period—if the total of your Daily Rank Scores reaches or exceeds the set threshold (17), you rank up at that moment.
<Rank Down>
When the tally period ends, if the total of your Daily Rank Scores is at or below the set threshold (9), your rank goes down.
<Keep Rank> (same rank)
When the tally period ends, if the total of your Daily Rank Scores does not meet the conditions for a rank up or rank down (that is, it falls between 10 and 16 17, inclusive), your rank is unchanged.
